Sachin Tendulkar The Don Makes a Ton Of Ton

Sachin Tendulkar became the first cricketer to score 100 international centuries after his one hundred against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup in Dhaka.

It has been over a year since he hit his last, against South Africa in Nagpur in a World Cup match, which is the longest time that it took a century, since its first test century against England at Old Trafford in August 1990 and his second against Australia almost two years later, in January 1992.

Tendulkar has now reached 49 and 51 ODI centuries in tests and has continued to make 114 before being dismissed.

He raised his arms to heaven in a muted celebration before being congratulated by the fielders of Bangladesh.

Tendulkar, who reached his century off 138 balls, made his first international ton in 1990 against England at Old Trafford at the beginning of what has developed into a wonderful career. Today was the 38 years of the 49th and its first ODIs against Bangladesh.
Sachin Tendulkar, the top scorer of all time in both tests and ODIs, had to wait over a year to create his latest piece of history. He failed to register a century touring India in England, the home series against West Indies and the tour of Australia.

Tendulkar, the top scorer of the first implementation plan in the history of the test and one-day cricket, has made a ton most coveted by taking a single off Shakib Al Hasan against Bangladesh in Asia Cup. Tendulkar century came out 138 balls and was studded with 10 fours and a six.

The 99th century master blaster came against South Africa March 12, 2011, in Nagpur during the World Cup. Friday the 49th century was Tendulkar in one-dayers, he has 51 test centuries.

Tendulkar, who was left stranded on 99 international hundreds for one year and four days, played Test series against England, the Caribbean and Australia. He also presented in the recently concluded triseries in Australia, but his attempt to become the first batsman to score 100 international hundreds have gone unheeded, even though he came close a few times.

Tendulkar has defied age and injury at every stage of his career. Whenever injuries threatened to block his career, he pushed his body to the limit and sometimes beyond. Even the most threatening of all injuries - tennis elbow pain (in 2004) - could not break it. He screamed in agony, waiting hopefully for nearly a year, he tackled with determination and finally conquered it like only he can.

In February 2010, Tendulkar became the first cricket world to score a double hundred one-day internationals, while in December 2010, he became the first to score 50 Test tons, the two points mark obtained against the best pace attack Cricket World - South Africa.

Wisden, considered the bible of cricket, named Tendulkar as the cricketer leading the world for 2010.

Rahul Dravid " THE WALL........" will miss u

Rahul Dravid batting great, the second most prolific batsman in the history of the game and drummer India middle order has decided to leave just 39 years international cricket. The Dravid, former captain of India, became the first of three aging Indian cricket, in addition to Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman, retiring after the tour of India test disastrous for Australia. He was playin last 16 years.Dravid said he would leave the stage with wonderful memories he shares with his teammates who are legends of the gameHe also thanked the cricket fans for their support during his long career.

There was intense speculation on the future of Dravid after the Australian tour and its decision to suspend his boots will now focus on another VVS Laxman big stick which had a disappointing tour.
Dravid had already announced his retirement from ODI cricket in England last year after being surprisingly recalled in the ODI team due to his outstanding performance during the Test series against England where he scored three centuries.
Nicknamed 'The Wall' for his austere defense, Dravid always reflected back to the future came into the sunset on the international cricket after making his debut in June 1996 when he lead the Jaipur based Rajasthan Royals by side in the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League.
Dravid finished his career with 13.288 test tracks - just behind Tendulkar (15,470 in 188 Tests) - in 164 matches with 36 hundreds and 63 half centuries and an average of 52.31, the 270 against Pakistan being its score highest.
Initially seen as a liability in the ring one day, he reinvents his game over the years to meet the shorter format that he played in April 1996 to September 2011. He scored 10,889 runs in 344 ODIs with 12 centuries and 83 half centuries and an average of 39.16.
Under his captaincy between October 2005 and September 2007, India won the Test series in West Indies and England, but had a disastrous World Cup in 2007 when they were eliminated in the first round of the tournament. He captained India in 25 Tests and 79 ODIs.
Never a natural athlete, the huge levels of concentration Dravid also came in handy as it also holds the world record catches highest test - 210 - mostly in the slip cordon. It surpassed Mark Waugh to become the recipient of the most successful shift in history. In addition, he has 196 catches in ODIs.
Dravid said he thought it was the right time for him to call it quits while young players take Indian cricket forward. All the best for your future Dravid.

One of best ODI victories I have been seen:India vs SriLanka

It was one of the best ODI cricket I have been seen. It was just fantastic cricket between
India vs Srilanka through the beginning of our hunt. When India need 321 off 40 overs,  need a good start.  need the quantity, but quality too. Overall it was a fantastic performance.
Needing to chase the A mammoth 321 in 40 overs for a bonus point and stay afloat in the tri-series, India rode unbeaten 133 off 86 balls Virat Kohli to snatch an incredible victory in only 36.4 overs.
Vi render Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar and Gautam Gambhir provided the right kind of start to drive his team.
The first 10 overs, India got 97 runs on the map. It was a great start and India needed to continue the momentum. Sachin, Sehwag gave us a good starting point, then Gambhir chipped in with useful contribution.
Indians with their hopes of qualifying for the finals of the tri-series hung on the outcome of the Australia-Sri Lanka game Friday.
Man-of-the-match Virat Kohli said it was a great team effort to chase the huge target like 320 inside 40 overs.
"To be able to chase 320 in 40 overs in a game must win, and put such an effort to stick together was a great team effort. This shows our character as a team, and How we can achieve our plans. It is about working hard and sticking in there, "he said.
He said he tried to correct some errors he had made in the previous matches of the tri-series.
"I made some mistakes in recent games after 20 and 30, trying to middle every ball, which does not always happen in international cricket. This is a very special feeling, probably my best of one day rounds so far, "said, adding they would be rooting for Australia in Friday's game against Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene said that we can not do much when someone like Kohli plays on his skin on a plot of true.
"You can not do much when he bats like that. It was the first day off for our bowlers in the tournament, so fair enough. It was not only Kohli, it was also the way the others around him hit, "he said.
Jayawardene sounded optimistic about qualifying for the final tri-series.
"Our qualification is still in our hands, which is great. Hope we come back from this and win in Melbourne."
Hopes must go on...................

England Rise In World Cricket

With a 4-0 victory over the beating India in the Test series which concluded in August 2011, Britain became the team test new No.1. And that too by moving the current No. 1 team in India. So now, England are on top of the version the longest and shortest of the game (remember they are the defending champions of the T-20 World Cup).

All this was not sudden. It was, after many ups and downs. Actually lower rather than higher. Not long ago, England has not been effective and has a very contradictory side. Also there was a period in 2007-2008 when captaincy was a major problem. Michael Vaughan, Andrew Flintoff, Paul Collingwood and Kevin Pietersen - the whole of England has led to some point of time. This resulted in England becoming a very unstable side. In such a situation to become the number one test team in the world would not have been possible without a change.
The turnaround began in 2009. In January 2009 Andrew Strauss was appointed captain after Kevin Pietersen resigned from the captaincy. Although his appointment was welcomed Captain Strauss career did not begin on a positive note. He began his career as a captain losing the Test series against West Indies in the Caribbean. It sounded like the change of captain did not change the fate of the English team. But anyway Andrew Strauss was able to bring the team together and focus on one goal - the goal of winning the Ashes (2009). This orientation has been a player like Stuart Broad refused a lucrative IPL. Although some England players do not appear in the IPL 2009, it did not affect their preparation for the ashes. It was evident in the discipline of their players have shown, especially the bowlers. English Bowling has really lifted the team. The victory of the 2009 Ashes series helped the English team to scale a new height in the world of cricket. To the performance that England was the series very contradictory in any form of the game. After the 2009 Ashes series the team began to push for the top position in Test cricket.

What makes the success of the England Test cricket special is that they had little success in the recent past to draw on. Unless the Ashes win of 2005 there was nothing they could boast of before or after. And the joy of triumph in 2005 was canceled in the 2006-07 Ashes series Down Under. Very stung by the defeat in 2005, Australia quickly put England in their place a 5-0 whitewash in the Ashes series 2006-07. Thus the magic and joy of the victory of England Ashes was short-lived.

But this story is not repeated in 2010-11 Ashes series. After winning the ashes at home in England in 2009 did not let the ash slide when they visited Down Under. Continuing their good run in Test cricket in England humiliated Australia with a 3-1 victory. With the win the English team really began staking their claim in the first position in the cricket test. It was nothing short of a miracle for a team that was nowhere among the best teams a year and a half ago to be on the verge of becoming the number one team. But the success of England made an interesting analysis vis-à-vis India.
England had no such luxury. Only a miracle could have taken this position. And the miraclehappened as the captain Andrew Strauss and coach Andy Flower. Both of them deserve credit for the success of England. But there is one important factor that changed the destiny of this team. Former England captain Michael Atherton in "opening" his autobiography wrote about the difference between English and the Australian team. He cited "pride" that the critical factor in the success of Australia. He says he always felt the English players were low on pride when it came to play for their country. He said one of the main reasons for the failure of England was the lack of pride and motivation while playing at international level.

The current team is certainly in English showing a different attitude. There is no shortage of pride. There is no lack of spirit and there is an abundance of positive attitude. This is evident by the factthat they play aggressively particularly during the bowling. Strong bowling department has played the most crucial of their birth to the number one position. Again, this is something contrary to the Indian team. Batting hitter and too aggressive (since Virender Sehwag opened the sleeves!) Was responsible in large measure to the success of India. Indian batting prowess was able to not only win games but also cover a relatively small bowling.

Don 2 Of The Cricket...............

An economics researcher
found an answer to one of the biggest debates in international cricket. Sachin Tendulkar is the greatest Test batsman ever on the end of the Australian legend Sir Donald Bradman.

"Griffith University researcher Dr. Nicholas Rohde has used economic theory to comparebatsmen from different eras, and said India's Little Master, which will be paved against the Australians at the MCG on Boxing Day, carries the history of Willow First , "reported 'The Australian'.
The 38-year-old Tendulkar the world record 15,183 runs from 184 Tests at an average of 56.02since its inception in 1989.Bradman, on the other hand, has played 52 Tests from 1928 to 1948, scoring 6996 runs at anastonishing average of 99.94. He died in 2001 aged 92.Dr Rohde said a theoretical analysis above puts Tendulkar Bradman."The rankings are designed to allow meaningful comparisons of players careers of different lengths," Dr. Rohde said."It's about emotional and there will always be a debate between proponents of Test cricket onthe relative performance of different drummers career," he added. The rankings by the researcher were created based on changes from a global player career, minus the total number of runs an average player at that time would accumulate the same number of innings.

Allan Border (September) and Steve Waugh (nine) were the other Australian batsmen in the top 10. Rahul Dravid (fourth) and Sunil Gavaskar (eighth) are the other Indians in the list.

Dr Rohde said it was possible that Tendulkar and Bradman could switch places several times before the Indian retired as a loss of form would affect his position.
Sachin Tendulkar fans are so obsessed with his 100th hundred who missed avery interesting piece of statistics.

Sachin, who has so far recorded 51 centuries in Tests and 48 ODIs in, also 27 tons of first classto his credit. His grand total of centuries amounts to 126 - nine more than Don Bradman's career count is 117.

There were, of course, not day ODIs Bradman is. Hundreds of Don 117, 29 came in 52 tests, while the rest came from first class cricket. Incidentally, Bradman was 39 when he completed his one hundred cents. Sachin, who is on the verge of his ton tons, 38.

In terms of international hundreds, former Australia captain Ricky Ponting, with 69 tonnes, to his credit, is a second poor Sachin.

Odds shorten the tour de force imminent Sachin

Sachin log odds on his 100th international hundred in the MCG has significantly shortened. Alocal bookmaker offering odds of 9 / 4 for the Little Master to complete his remarkable feat in Melbourne.

If Sachin fails its CWM, the chances of his he does to the BTC is 3-1, while the chances of Perthand Adelaide are 5 / 1 and 7 / 1 respectively. In case you want to bet on Sachin failing to do so in the Test series, the odds are 12 / 5.
